Mike and Robbin Jung live with their three children, Holden, Kelsey and Hayden in Farmington, Utah where they are all heavily involved in the horse industry.
A horse fanatic from birth, Mike began his show career at the age of 12 when he joined the local 4-H club. He spent his youth showing in 4-H and open breed shows, until he met young Robbin Secrist at a show and she introduced him to the world of Quarter Horse Breed shows.
Robbin's parents, Joe and Carrolyn Secrist, were well-respected horse trainers in Utah and the western United States. She practically grew up on horseback and following a very successful youth career with Top Ten finishes at the AQHA Youth World shows with Dun Gone Fax and Pampa Barbara, Robbin began her illustrious training career.
Mike and Robbin married in 1987 and in 1990, they started their own training business, Jung Performance Horses. Since that time, they have coached many youth and amateurs to wins at the local, regional and national levels in Showmanship, Trail, Western Riding, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle and Hunt Seat Equitation.
Both Mike and Robbin are AQHA and NSBA judges. They are also both members of AQHA, APHA, UQHA, UPHA and the AQHA Professional Horseman Association. In addition, Mike is a national director for AQHA. Both he and Robbin serve on the board of directors for UQHA and they are also the UQHYA youth advisors.
